Hate to be a bother, but do you still have a save that's affected by this? If so, could you attach that here as well? Everything in your log is as expected. It should definitely be working.

No idea why it didn't work for you, because this was specifically fixed in USKP 1.2.4. The fact that you're getting dialogue specific to the quest means its still running.

I'd need to see the SQV output from FreeFormValdDebt in order to know what's going on there, because the tests I ran on it all worked.

Thanks, unfortunately that save won't load in my testbed. Even with all the required mods in the order your save wants them. After selecting it to load, I see a load screen briefly, then it just dies.

hmm... Do you want me to try and reduce the mods I have loaded and resave? I am using the latest SKYUI ?.6 and am about to install the latest ß mayne that has something to do with it?

Could be. If you can get me one that's not dependent on that, that would be great. I'm still using SkyUI 2.2. Been waiting for 3.0 to enter a more stable beta period before using it.

Open the console (~ key) and then type:

SQV FreeformValdDebt

It'll work best if you have Conskrybe installed (on Nexus, requires SKSE) since you can attack the Conskrybe log here with all the info that gives.

Otherwise provide what you can from the console output.

Chances are slim you'll see this here, but I realized why your save wasn't loading. You didn't provide the SKSE co-save files.

Vald's dead, I found the quill, but can't close the quest unless I delete the USKP fix dialogue for the quest.<br>

Finally managed to get back around to this - can't reproduce. Vald is dead. Had the quill quest. Recovered the quill. Took it back to Maven. Finished up just fine.
