Issue #15086: BleakFallsDragon (000263CE): corpse persists indefinetly

 
A dragon spawns in the area near Bleak Falls Barrow (RefID: 000263CE) at some point after completing "Dragon Rising". For some reason, the dragon's corpse will persist indefinitely and can often be found in various areas near Lake Ilinalta (and elsewhere in Falkreath Hold) <u>many</u> days later. I have observed this on a number of play-throughs (several on the Xbox 360) and twice on the PC with the USKP installed. While, I cannot be absolutely sure that this isn't an engine bug, I was hoping that someone may be able check to see if something is off with the scripting for this dragon encounter, because it <u>seems like</u> more than a coincidence that this particular dragon has done this on so many occasions.

This is actually the Bleak Falls Barrow dragon that CRF restores to the game. It doesn't exist in a vanilla setup, so the issue needs to be addressed through CRF.

:facepalm: Oops, didn't realize that; it's hard to tell when they use an ID starting with "00". I didn't even think to look at the change log for CRF. Anyway, this issue has been moved into the CRF thread (<a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/topic/3824-relz-cutting-room-floor/?p=150578'>here</a>;).

So as it turns out, this bug was in fact a vanilla issue. I have no idea what made me think it was CRF's doing.

In any case it's been addressed now so that the corpse will cull eventually. Somewhat surprising this never got noticed by anyone but perhaps they simply didn't think anything of it.
