Issue #18616: Missing in Action - Entering Fralia's Home

 
I'm not entirely sure whether you could or would call this a bug, but it has always been on my mind when I went through this process. When Fralia invites you to her home, she goes around the house, enters and unlocks the back door for you, instead of just going to the front door (at least, I would assume the front door is the one facing the Eldergleam tree, nevertheless, it doesn't make sense she'd ignore this door and go all the way around, other than being subtle). However, when you enter the home from the back door, Fralia is standing near the front door, while Avulstein goes running to this entrance as well, as if you're supposed to have entered the house from there.

Or, hopefully fixed. Not always easy to tell, but it appears this may have been due to bad preferred navmesh pathing in Whiterun.

May also be responsible for why Belethor routinely enters his shop from the back door.

In both cases, the back door was marked as preferred but the front was not.
