Issue #26787: Eternal Loading Circle at Menu

 
When I updated from 4.1.7 to 4.1.8. The game will not load at all now, it only will show the loading circle at the menu and even waiting 15 minutes it still would not load the main menu options. This literally makes the game unplayable unless I get rid of the patch. The only way to close the game at this point is from Task manager.

This issue has had a reopen request processed which was denied for the following reason:

This is due to issues that need to be updated in the child mods you're using - one of which has been identified as the Killable Children mod. See the sticky posts on Nexus for the information.

Per the discussion on the USSEP Nexus Mods page, this is due to a "child" mod that isn't playing nicely with the patch. The authors will need to fix the problem on their end.
