Issue #33234: Elder Knowledge quest didn't start after completing the Throat of the World quest.
So I've completed the Dawnguard DLC and Septimus Signus quests that made him go, and I have all the elder scrolls from before I met Paarthurnax. Then, when I complete The Throat of the World quest, the Elder Knowledge won't start even if I use setstage MQ205 10 to 100. Nothing happened, and I have tried to complete the Winterhold College quest until the Hit the Books quest, then met Paarthurnax, but it still doesn't help. I also tried to complete the quest before the Hit the Books quest after meeting Paarthurnax, but nothing happened. But I can use command MQ206 10, and the next quest will start, but I also don't get the achievement of completing the elder knowledge quest. I've also tried installing a mod called Quest Journal Limit Bug Fixer, but it also doesn't help. Is there anyway I could fix this? This is my first playthrough, so if I have to go back to undo the Septimus quest, that will be sad

Elder Knowledge not starting is normal in this circumstance, as you've technically already completed it by getting the scroll for the Dawnguard questline, although in that case, it should just skip ahead to Alduin's Bane. (This isn't a Dawnguard-specific feature, as even in the vanilla game, it's possible to fully complete Discerning the Transmundane before getting to the Elder Scroll search in the main quest) Did you, by chance, give the scrolls to Dexion yet? I could see that soft-locking the quest if it includes the vanilla scroll, and not just the two Dawnguard ones.
Firstly, thank you for your reply. I haven't given the elder scroll to Dexion yet because I think the scroll is important. And when I finished the Throat of the World quest and the letter popping on my screen said that I'd completed the quest, there's no next quest for me. Do you think I should use command MQ206 10 for my quest to continue? because I've been doing a misc quest all this time.
We'd need to see a copy of the save game in order to determine what happened here. The sequence of events as laid out in the CK should have made this result impossible.
