Issue #35276: May the Best Thief Win - Methredel Keeps Diary on Person Instead of Placing in Chest

 
If she gets the book first, stealing it back from her would require relatively difficult pickpocketing rather than simply looting it from her chest.

She's also not leaving her house to turn the book in, blocking the other avenue of progression.

On a lesser note, she sleeps in the bed away from her chest rather than the one next to it.
