Issue #35288: Fame reset to zero sometime during or right after Thieves guild questline

 
I'm not certain the specific moment but right around when i finished the Thieves guild quest ( which caused me to hit 100 infamy) my fame was reset to zero. Seeing as there is a limited amount of fame you can get in the game this can lock you out of certain things hence why i felt it necessary to report this bug incase it happens to others. I had already popped most of the oblivion gates by that point and now i am locked out of the fighters guild quest unless I discard my infamy entirely which i was hoping to not have to do.

Take off the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal. It overrides your Fame and Infamy values. After removing it, you will again see your actual Fame and Infamy.

Ah, worth a shot. I have 51 Fame and 31 Infamy after completing all the Thieves Guild quests, though, so it's not a consistent bug.

My best guess is at some point I put it on and something didn't run properly causing my stats to change for the cowl on my normal characters stats
