So I realized the new mods I installed today for hard quicksaves and showing the name of a key I have to open a door require script extender and that I now have to launch the game via that loader instead ...
Upon doing so, the door appears as not trespassing and unlocked ... not sure if it was just the restart in general or if it was the script extender thing.

It's a common symptom in both the original game and with the remaster. Sometimes a door that should be unlocked and available says you're trespassing if you try to open it. Pretty hilarious that they managed to duplicate the same behavior in Unreal Engine.
There's nothing we could do with this unfortunately. The devs would need to fix it.
Often the workaround is as simple as looking away for a bit and then looking back. Or waiting an hour to let it tick up everyone's AI.
