I see that in CFM you guys have blocked the retro fix for 2.1.8 from running. There's no explanation as to why other than that it's supposed to be duplicating items.
I'm not sure why that would be the case because if those aliases are not filled, the game shouldn't have generated one to begin with and that's why we corrected it. So that those things would spawn as needed.

Whatever the case may be, the script is causing dupes upon starting a new game in its current state, and commenting out the section in CFM was an emergency stopgap fix. I can only guess that the retroactive fix was only tested on an existing save, so this was missed, but it's just a guess. I tested it without CFM or any other mods, too, so I can safely rule that out.
