Issue #36082: Ice and Chitin NNW of Narzulbur falls under floor

 
This was reported and dismissed a long time ago, but I'd like to revisit it. There is an Ice and Chitin at a hunter's camp NNW of Narzulbur. In all of my playthroughs, it is inaccessible under the camp floor. I've also tested by toggling AI and clipping off before leaving Helgen, and it's still inaccessible. Even if it was properly placed when it was originally reported, USSEP has made a lot of changes over the last 10 years, so I think it's worth another look.

The book (00000E6B) is well underneath the stockade base in my game too. Maybe something got messed up with the release of SSE. The previous report was way back in the Skyrim Legendary Edition days (#20880).

The book itself is underneath the surface, but the yellow placement marker is right about where it should be on the surface with several other objects. The ragdoll data likely needs to be cleared and allowed to reset. It used to be you could only do that by using xEdit to remove the ragdoll field. After that the Creation Kit could be used to make any necessary placement adjustments.
