Issue #34531: Shadowmere glitch

 
In vanilla game, when you dismiss a purchased horse or Frost by mounting another horse, the dismissed horse will stay where it is dismissed and remain there forever. However, somthing different happens when it occurs on Shadowmere. It will still stay where it is dismissed for a period of time and then disappear after world respawns (usually 10 in-game days). There might be a script glitch which results in that Shadowmere could not survive the world refresh procedure. Thanks to its unique resurrection ability, it will respawn outside the Falkreath Sanctuary if get killed. But it is still annoying.

I suppose I figured out what happened. Although Shadowmere was given to you as a reward after DB07, it never really belongs to you. Using "setownership" command will solve this problem. And I strongly recommend a line of code be added after DB10 since Shadowmere's previous owner, Astrid, is dead at that time.

Forget what I said in last comment. After double check, the "setownership" command doesn't help at all.

No. It is related to Respawn flag. However, if you remove this flag, it won't reappear outside the Falkreath Sanctuary upon killed.
So just leave it be and close this ticket.
