Issue #36926: Bad UV mapping on the legs of both types of beds found in the Shivering Isles

 
An entry from the USIP changelog states:

v1.2.0 (2007-December-25)
Fixed bad UV mapping on the legs of both types of beds found in the Isles ( SEBed01.NIF & SEBed02.NIF )

However, the UV mapping on the legs of both types of beds with the USIP installed looks to be not right (see the attached image).

There is a mod called Khettienna's Mini-Mods which somewhat fixes these two bed meshes (the KMM SE Beds Improved UV or KMM SE Beds Improved UV Stone miscellaneous files), and so maybe similar fixes could be replicated in the USIP.

Note: the screenshot is from a modded game and may therefore be inaccurate, but given the existence of Khettienna's SE bed fixes linked above, I still think this issue should be evaluated.

I looked into this, and the bed uses the Scalon statue texture for its feet. Both the bed and the statue have three toes on their feet, so presumably the bed should be following the same UV layout as the statue.

That said, the statue uses a baked UV map, but significant parts of the texture that have been baked don't seem to be in use.

Will probably need to address the statue first to work out the bed!
