Issue #10452: Strong Boxes never respawn

Issue: TreasStrongBox contents do not respawn, it should like all other "Treas" containers.

Proposed Fix: Check "Respawns" on TreasStrongBox, and while you're at it TreasStrongBox is missing the following loots: LootImperialLuck, TGLootProwlersProfit, LootPerkGoldenTouchChange. Might be a good idea to check and see if all applicable containers have the right loot perks.

I can confirm that treasure boxes don't respawn, once looted they stay empty.

I think these may be intentional since all but 2 of them appear in situations where one would not expect them to get replenished.

The missing perk stuff is another story though.

Why wouldn't merchants/nobles/bandits get new valuables they want to store in the strong box?

As I said, all but 2 appear in situations where a respawn would make no sense. Unless you think strongboxes in the middle of the wilderness with nothing but rotted skeletons nearby should respawn :P

I guess I'm a city thief as I haven't come across a strong box in the wilderness...

There's quite a number of them actually. Most of which are funny little bits with dead skeletons nearby. Sort of like little mini scenes.

Now that I've come across some strong boxes in the wild, I don't see a strong reason for them not to respawn. I have on several occasions stored valuables inside them, so why wouldn't some random bandit do the same? That would make finding a strong box always exciting, because you would never know what's inside it (or if it's empty).

If you're not going to make them respawn, might the other issues at least be looked at?

Went back and poked at this - TreasStrongBox will remain a nonrespawning container.

The normal "StrongBox" container will now respawn since *IT* is used in generic dungeon situations where one should expect it to respawn. It will also now carry the missing perk lists as well.

Isn't this change inconsistent with the fact that numerous other generic-loot containers in generic dungeons do not respawn either (mainly Sacks</em>, but also most Large Sacks</em>, furniture, and some chests)? Or should those containers be set to respawn as well?
