Issue #12490: After completing Kindred Judgment, it is not possible to sell the Dragon Elder Scroll

After Kindred Judgment, a handling quest by the same name starts - DLC1VQ08Post. In this quest, the DLC allows you to sell the Blood and Sun Elder Scrolls to Dexion. The UDGP as of 1.2.2 allows you to sell them to him when playing on the vampire side too.

There is, however, no means to sell the Dragon scroll. Dexion will not take it, and if you bought it back from Urag, he does not offer dialogue to take it.

Dexion should be given an additional line of script code to take the 3rd scroll. Optionally, Urag should be allowed to buy all 3 of them from you instead. Since two scrolls goes for 6,000 gold, the total sale should also be raised to 9,000 gold.

Why not have Dexion buy the DLC scrolls and reset the variable that controls whether Urag will buy the MQ scroll?

Rest feels like mod territory to me.

Part of the problem is that Urag only has appropriate dialogue for buying the scroll off you the first time.

The second time he certainly should not be surprised that you have it, acting like he doesn't know.

Is that a big enough deal?

Arthmoor said:

Yes, because it's totally silly that he'd act surprised that you have the Elder Scroll that he sold back to you.

Do you want the ability to sell the Scroll back, nevermind some inconsistent surprise, or do you not want the ability at all?

Arthmoor said:

Maybe I need to be more clear. :P

He needs proper dialogue for it before I'm going to fix it. I was hoping you'd be able to find some way to make that happen. Splcing or whatever, or perhaps an appropriate line of vanilla dialogue that's not too terribly out of place to use for the sale.

I thought</em> that you were subtly trying to get me to do more work... :P<br><br>The dialogue in DialogueWCUragElderScrollFollowUp1 in DialogueWinterholdCollege seems fine to me.

All fixed, and I even spliced out the extra stuff to make a new INFO record instead :P

Fixed in UDGP 1.2.3.
