Issue #12832: Optional objective could be crucial to other quest

In the Thieves Guild quest 'Summerset Shadows', you are told to go to Uttering Hills cave and destroy the new found guild. However a misc quest from Windhelm, from who I cannot remember, asks you to kill the leader of Uttering Hills camp, in an unrelated matter. The majority of dungeons that have multiple quests attached usually work out ok, but in this circumstance, though I was able to complete the 'Summerset Shadows' quest, the leader for the other objective was not there, however when I look in the quest journal and activate floating markers, I see one in a room though there is no Npc underneath it.

Waiting until it reset, the next time I went there the Summerset Shadows had returned, but still no leader in accordance to the misc quest, though same floating marker. I think the problem may be related to a misc objective that wasn't given to me in game, but I found when reading through the official game guide, that asks you to burn the 'Summerset Shadow' banner in the hall of the dungeon, which I did the second time. However again after waiting for an amount of time for the cave to clear up, the Summerset Shadows are back again, basically they won't clean up properly and shouldn't even respawn after the quest is complete, again the optional objective might have something to do with it.

This occurs because the bandit the radiant quest wants you to kill was disabled when the Shadows appeared.

Shouldn't get re-enabled once the shadows quest is done. On the other side it seems wrong for the summerset shadows to be returning anyway as the whole point of the quest was to eradicate them once and for all.

Shouldn't 'it' rather.

Fixed for USKP 1.3.3.

The Uttering Hills toggle marker was never disabled again after the quest.

Finally discovered that Annekke Crag-Jumper might have given me this quest, and because of this I cannot hire her as follower, which UESP has identified as a problem also, though because it is radiant it is highly unlikely.

Well hopefully it'll resolve itself and let you complete it once 1.3.3 goes out.

Well done, the issue did resolve itself, with the Summerset Shadows gone the bandit chief now spwans properly and Brunwulf who it was gave me the quest can now complete it. This also fixes http://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/tracdown/issue/13068-rare-issue-causes-annekke-crag-jumper-unable-to-be-a-follower/, so a very good fix, cheers.
