Issue #1456: Ahtar not leaving Jala's House/ Improper Schedule
Alright USP Team, I got a small little bug that needs fixing. Ahtar – Solitude’s Executioner – does not follow his schedule properly. Once he enter’s Jala’s house, he never leaves to follow his normal work schedule.
I waited outside Jala’s house for 24 hours to see if he would exit and go to the Castle Dour Dungeons, but he doesn’t budge. It’s a frustrating bug since Jala’s house is locked for the majority of the day, having no way of completing his bandit leader quest. Not really sure what is causing this. There have been some work around console fixes and game breaking solutions with his bug reported on the Unofficial Skyrim Wiki here, albeit immersion breaking: www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim_talk:Ahtar I am using the beta Unofficial Patch 1.05c and Skyrim official patch 1.7 and am only using a few minor mods. Thanks! |
Calling this one fixed now. Looks like it was the idle marker in the jail causing him to skip the jail package. He's come out of his home now on 5 out of 5 reloads with various characters at different points in the game.
Moreover, while in the house, he never goes to sleep. You may be sent to rob Jala's house in one of the Thieves Guild radiant quests, which is impossible to complete because he'll always spot you.
Looking at this, seems a different cause than bug 851 or bug 1121.
He's supposed to:
SolitudeAhtarEatInn20x4 (which should always get him out of the house)
SolitudeJailorWorkDay8x12 (uses Patrol template)
DefaultSleepEditorLoc24x8
SolitudeSandboxEditorLocation512 (completely unused, no spare time)

He's not Eating, because the Eat package has condition GetQuestCompleted SolitudeOpening == 0, and it probably should be == 1.
He's not going to the jail. I cannot find his "LinkedReference". It's refusing to view, and has keyword NONE, does that mean it's not set?
I found him sleeping at 8 pm -- because the above packages aren't running, it falls into his aforementioned otherwise unused Sandbox.
But he isn't sleeping 24x8. He got up the instant I entered, although he was lying in bed.

The eat package is fixed.
His jail package might be failing because the marker in the Solitude jail he uses (74df5) is half-buried in a shelf and isn't sitting on the navmesh as a result. So he might not have been able to path to it. Will check that now.
I can't see anything wrong with the sleep package.
Sandbox packages usually allow for sleeping so if he got up it might simply be that he's changed idles during the package.
