Download (Edit: Removed temporarily. Going to fix up the collision normals a bit so the collision is more stable, and also maybe flatten the boards out a bit even though they do dip in the middle.)

Please test. <del>Also, the 05 mesh is quite bad and I can just adapt the new collision to it as well, so may as well wait for me to upload the 05 mesh too.</del>

Added the 05 mesh as well since it was just a scaled down version of the 04 mesh and had the same collision issue. Technically 01 and 03 do as well, but they are taller and might not have much stacked on the top of them.

Pete, so I found that if I just re-run the Havok sim on the bottle in DLC2RRGloverMalloryHouse that it doesn't tip over anymore. I guess the slight change I made to the collision just rubs the wrong way (literally) with the Havok data for some of those bottles.

I think I'm going to try keeping that middle plank flat though and keeping the height as close as possible to the original so that we don't have to find every single bottle that is placed on those shelves.

That sounds like a good idea to me. As long as it fixes the original issue with the floating it probably doesn't make a whole lot of difference whether the middle plant is perfect. Plus having less placement fixes to do doesn't hurt anything either. :D

OK even with perfectly flat collision there are still going to be a few necessary placement fixes.

https://i.imgur.com/dawjmOs.jpg - The troll skull tilts back because of the lower collision in the back.

<del>https://i.imgur.com/CavEStw.jpg - The apple rolls off</del>

https://i.imgur.com/VoWaZSF.jpg - This bottle still falls back.

Here is what the <del>[[https://i.imgur.com/4SOpHEg.jpg|skull and apple]]</del> look like in the CK.

Also because I decided against having the front shelf bow in the center, there will still be floaters such as this:

Fixed - https://i.imgur.com/UKNRUkJ.jpg

Since it's in the center of that front shelf it will still float. So either it can be positioned closer to the left or right edges or we could just accept the floating there.

The reason I don't want to bow the shelf in the center is because more stuff will probably roll off.

----

Edit: Actually in that last image link it's a little more floaty than it should be, as you can see the middle shelf note actually raises up a bit. This is because the collision is a tad higher than it should be.

So, I need to move the bhkRigidBodyT down a bit and go back and check all the bottles and things again. :X

Edit2: OK so lowering the collision slightly fixed the apple. Troll skull and the Sujamma are the only placement issues now.

Needs placement fixes for:

I made the placement fixes.

03036F65: http://postimg.org/image/8c4vbzgwh [Troll skull] - I think it's placed correctly (hard to tell), but it is liable to still be goofy due the collision issue on the skull's jaw (FS#17176) - (there's another troll skull in Severin Manor '03036EFC' that does the same thing). If the collision on the skulls is fixed at some point it may be necessary to adjust a number of them.

03036EB6: Sujamma bottle - It was sitting halfway on the middle plank and floating above the back one halfway, so I moved it to the center and it stays put.

0303A4E4: Morvayn http://postimg.org/image/4m89oeond/ [letter] - I moved it to the center/left so that it doesn't float anymore. Obviously this is only a workaround due to the way the collision works on the shelf, so if either you or Arthmoor think the letter should just be left alone I can always undo the change before it gets added to the UDBP; it doesn't matter to me either way.

Fixed for UDBP 2.1.1.
