Issue #20293: Settlers Assigned to Guard posts do not Display Equipped Weapons
This has bugged me for a long time and it seems that no one has picked up on it yet, but with the CK coming out, I now have some validation for this irritation.
Settlers assigned to guard posts don't display their equipped weapon while performing the guard animation. The assigned settler should have their equipped weapon (rifle or pistol) held in their right hand. The WorkshopGuardMarker (FormID 001254E2) Displays a default Laser Musket equipped where the actor's weapon should be when performing the animation. I think my report is related
When dealing with a settler at a guard post, when I unequip a settler's weapon (and take it) give them a new one, and equip the new one, they don't visibly equip it, they just pretend they are holding a weapon in their hand. Screenshot attached.

It appears somewhere along the way this issue was resolved in an official update. All the settlers I have who used to do the same thing are now instead standing with their arms crossed at their guard posts rather than in a stance holding a phantom gun.
