Issue #20917: Female Sultry voiced followers use some Female Young Eager lines
I believe you guys know about this, but I didn't see an issue on the tracker for it, so I thought I would add one.
USLEEP adds missing follower dialogue lines for the Female Sultry Follower voice type, however the lines are with the altered Female Young Eager voice. This causes followers with the Female Sultry voice type to "switch" back and forth between voices depending on the dialogue used. CloudedTruth has fixed the issue with this mod: [[http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71869/?|Female Sultry Follower Voice Fix]]. There is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5Qg8Du-6TI on the mod page showing the issue in detail. |
It's deliberate, actually. Bethesda had used a pitch-shifted FemaleYoungEager line for FemaleSultry's trade dialogue, so that's what I used as filler for the other unvoiced lines.
Been sitting on the files for that for awhile now, guess it's as good a time as any to decide if it should be revisited and matched up to the proper voice type.
Quality of the audio is really good in those files. I just don't like the fact that it's including so many additional dialogue responses.
The vanilla game has no actual responses to deliver for these lines. Can NPCs with this voice type even be recruited as followers?

Yes. Eola (0001990F) is one for sure.
I think it only makes sense that an NPC would use a single voice type. I understand this is not what Bethesda initially did for this voice type, but that seems like a bug in itself to me.

Eola and Beleval (from Dawnguard) both use the FemaleSultry voice type. Eola's follower dialogue is mostly covered by her post-DA11 dialogue, which is probably why Beth didn't catch this issue. The missing lines stem from Eola not having rank -1 in CurrentFollowerFaction, so the lines never showed up to be recorded.
Just my 2 cents (and probably will not help) : confirmed but quite sophisticated to implement. And I already hear all players using follower mods complaining that USLEEP/USSEP breaks them...
Imo, it's best to do nothing and let it in its actual state...

Should have done this 2 years ago, but I concur, it's too much of a hassle to implement and the substitutions done by Bethesda seem to work well enough as they are.
