Several raider bodies don't despawn after you kill them in Open Season. Notably Porter Gage, Wiiliam and Mags Black and several unnamed ones aswell.

Open Season stops when you talk to McKenzie Bridgeman, so it isn't the quest that's holding things up. Will need to have you check this again (I know, a year and more late, but hey) and use the console to look at the bodies that are left behind. Use "SV" when you do and this will reveal what other aliases they're still being held by. Stuff not disappearing is generally because of that.

Some raider corpses of Pack, Disciples, and Operators in Nuka-Town USA don't despawn after killing them and completing the quest Open Season (not triggered by that quest, just a result of it since you leave a lot of raider corpses behind after Open Season). Current corpse count upon return to Nuka-World after 31 days of waiting at Sanctuary: Shank, 3 Packs and 1 Operator corpses outside of Market, plus 1 living Operator who seemed to have respawned. Mags plus 2 Operator corpses in Parlor. Cappy's Cafe and interior of Market are clear of corpses. Mason plus 2 Pack corpses in Amphitheater, plus one living pack dog that respawned. 2 Pack corpses in Backstage section of Amphitheater. Nisha and 2 Disciple corpses in Fizztop Mountain. Even Overboss Colter's body is there in Nuka-Cars. I will note that I had left Lizzie, Dixie, and Savoy alive in my playthrough and killed just the bosses and all the generic raiders. Mods I had active: Unofficial FO4 Patch, Cheat Terminal (only use it to spawn weapons/armor and for leveling, didn't do anything I thought might interfere), Loyal Porter Gage (so didn't kill Gage). And I did Open Season right at the start of Home Sweet Home (killed Shank first)

Someone else's observation of this "two corpse bug":
There are always two corpses never get despawned or cleaned up properly if you do this quests. The bodies of Mason, Mags Black, Nisha, Shank, Lizzie, Gage and Dixie never disappear. That's okay probably because they are main characters. William Black's body will disappear.

But there are always two corpses stay on forever. 2 in the market, 2 in Nuka Town Usa just outside of the market, 2 in Nuka Town near the pool in front of Fizztop Mountain, 2 in the cafe, 2 in Bradberton Amphitheater etc.

I actually tried the cafe fight 2 or 3 times for some reason. Each time leaving Nuka-World then came back, the cafe always remained 2 corpses never got cleaned up.

Wish I could use the SV command but I play on Xbox One so not sure how to find it. If anyone have a playthrough saved where you completed Open Season notice this?

More or less the same thing in my game. Roughly half clean up and half don't. It's probably not likely that this can be fixed due to the complexity of the way things are set up in the game, but someone else will have to make that determination.

The conversation quests are notorious for not shutting down when they should. Them being the culprits would also explain why there are always two corpses left, since their only purpose is to start a conversation scene and shut down when that scene ends (there's nothing else on those quests). Why DLC04MS01 is still running in your game is another question.

That's quite the mess.

Upon finishing Open Season, all of the Actor Dialogue event quests associated with the Nuka-World raiders will be shut down. This will clear up all of the aliases they'd be held in at the time.

DLC04MS01 also has that raider alias which will need to be cleared, so on that quest he's been marked as optional and it will be cleared out at the same time. That quest CANNOT just be shut down because it could be running for a very long time as it's a long term scavenger hunt quest.

This should effectively deal with the bodies, but it will take the usual amount of time to cull them once these things get shut off.
