Resolution: Can't Fix - Engine Issue

Issue #23442: Listening to a Holotape and then hacking a terminal or picking a lock ends the Holotape prematurely

I don't know the direct cause, but I have a sneaking suspicion that any interaction that causes the PC to say something (hacking a terminal and saying "nice!";) is somehow flagging the Holotape to end despite no indication from the player that it should do so. I have experienced this issue countless times on multiple runs and can 100% confirm that it does exist. It's not a simple one-off, I've had it happen dozens of times.

Also, I haven't done thorough testing on this other potential cause, but I think taking damage which causes grunts of pain is also doing the same thing.

This likely isn't something we can address, but fortunately there's a useful workaround... don't interrupt the holotapes before they're done :P
