Issue #23497: Post-quest handling for Secret of Cabot House still not working properly

These issues seem to have been looked at in #20861, but they still aren't really fixed and the attempted fix seems to have created additional problems: after doing as instructed by Jack and using the Abremelin field to kill Lorenzo at Parsons, the Cabots are supposed to age, Wilhelmina is meant to die, and Jack is meant to relocate to Cabot House. None of these things however appear to be working as intended:

- Jack will be moved to Cabot House after a while (I see where this is done in QF_MS09_00022A00) but since his package isn't altered, he will simply run straight back to Parsons
- The Cabots will correctly age, but the handling for this doesn't work:
- Wilhelmina will be disabled, but neither Jack nor Emogene will comment on her passing as they're meant to
- The young versions of Jack and Emogene will be disabled and their old versions enabled, but they won't have the correct dialogue; Emogene is meant to comment on having to get used to being an old woman, etc.
- Both will be using the wrong package: old Emogene will immediately head for The Third Rail, whereas old Jack will beeline directly for the basement of Parsons again; they're supposed to sandbox in Cabot House
- As an aside, Edward will stand around in the living room of Cabot House with his weapon drawn indefinitely, though he too is meant to sandbox in Cabot House

Probably most critically however, old Jack is incapable of completing the objective to speak to him regarding the artifact so as to collect the reward for the questline, meaning that if you wait too long to cash in the quest after the week has elapsed, you won't be able to - the quest marker will simply point to wherever young Jack was when he was disabled. Whereas this didn't matter in the original broken version of the quest in which the Cabots never aged, the fix has caused the quest to become potentially impossible to complete.

Had the same things happen in my current playthrough.

I have witnessed this as well as far as Old Jack. Apparently, it seems the old Jack object does not inherit the script from young Jack as they are two different FormIDs. Then old Jack just either has no response or very little. I get past this with setstage MS09MiscJackReward 100.

I may have some new insight into this bug.

In my current (moded) survival playthrough I ran in to this issue.
I was able to complete all quests in the quest line and got the quest reward a week after killing Lorenzo. So all quests (inclung MS09MiscJackReward 100) are closed, yet Jack, Emogene and Degan are stuck in one spot and will not idle. Neither will the killed quest NPCs be cleaned up.

How I ended up there is: I had killed Lorenzo using the Abremelin field, but after that I used the door switch in the asylum to loot Lorenzo's cell. I found a comment online, that this might jumble the quest stages and is the reason why e.g. Degan has his gun drawn (he is waiting for Lorenzo to attack).

If I setstage MS09 1340 and go the Cabot house, Degan will have put away his gun and start moving to the cellar. Jack and Emogene turn up in the house, start idling and will reply with generic hellos when spoken to.
Not sure if this fixes the quest fully, since neither Cabot will comment on their old age or their mother's passing.
