Resolution: Can't Fix - Sony Asset Restrictions

Issue #24938: Blood on the Ice inspect triggers not displayed

After getting Hjerim's key from Tova and entering the house, none of the special text boxes are showing up, and I cannot otherwise interact with the house other than apparently picking up a mead bottle. In other words, I cannot take the Butcher poster or the Strange Amulet. The quest cannot be completed now. Basically, a PS4 repeat of Issue #24504 Black Pete claims that this bug does not exist, but I can confirm that it not only does, but it also persists for the PS4 version along with the PC version.

You claim to be able to reproduce it on the PC version of the game, but haven't provided a way for us to reproduce it by providing a game save with the issue. Like I said in the ticket you linked, we've tested the quest extensively and haven't run into any problems with only the patch installed.

I only have 2 mods on my PS4 version. This one and the map marker mod also by Arthmoor. Unlike PC, I'm not actually sure how to extract PS4 saves. And no, I didn't reproduce on the PC version. I reproduced it on the PS4 version.

What you're seeing is behavior caused by vanilla bugs. That's the stuff we fixed on PC/XB1 that can't carry over to PS4 due to the asset restrictions. We've validated that this quest is as fixed as it can get at this point on PC/XB1 and these bugs will remain on PS4 because pretty much all of it aside from a few typos requires scripts. Lots of them.
