Issue #25776: Stormcloak Prisoners Become Hostile

During the Imperial Soldiers random encounter, whereby they are escorting a Stormcloak prisoner, the prisoner will become hostile if he witnesses you killing the soldiers before freeing him. Killing them from stealth seems to prevent this, as does freeing him before combat. But if you kill the soldiers first, he will become hostile and will count as a witness of the murder of the soldiers. Additionally no dialogue window will appear to free him, killing him then resurrecting him will likewise cause him to become hostile and attempt to pummel you to death with his bare hands.

So far, I have only encounter a singular patrol on the road from Riverwood to Whiterun with this issue, Whiterun is under Neutral (Imperial) control at this point in the story. As I have just left Riberwood for the first time after completing Helgen.

Please let me know if I can add any further information.
