Issue #26296: Floating Black Book in Nchardak

As you can see in the attachment, I have a floating Black Book and one still in its little cubby at Nchardak. I'm reasonably sure that the trigger was that I left Nchardak as soon as I got back upstairs, so i could go sell some stuff. The quest updated just after I fast-travelled to Raven Rock. I assume this caused the whole scene that should've raised the BB up to fail.

I can't really find a path through the scripting that could have caused this, even if you did rush the exit when you shouldn't have.

Were you able to recover the book and move on? If so we may just have to chalk this up to an edge case with no viable solution.

Yeah, I don't recall if I consoled it into my inventory or if I clipped beneath the floor and grabbed it that way, but one way or another, I got it.

Weird since the picture you supplied indicates the real book had been enabled properly even if the animation never completed. We'll consider it a fluke for now.

If you happen across it again ( or anyone else for that matter ) please provide a save so we can look at it in more detail then.
