Resolution: Can't Fix - Engine Issue

Issue #27186: Silver-blood family ring provides permanent hidden smithing buffs

Earlier today I found my character has a hidden 15% smithing buff. I thought it was ancient knowledge's fault but after thoroughly testing I found ancient knowledge is working as intended. I then checked every possible provider of 15% smithing buff and found this ring. It was in one of my followers inventory, I had equipped it once but never again, it wasn't equipped by my follower either. After I sold the ring to a vendor and refreshed his inventory, the smithing buff disappeared. I'm not sure if it's a bug in the vanilla game or caused by some mod conflict, I'm also not sure the exact condtion of this to happen. The only irregular things I can remember is that I assassinated Thonar Silver-Blood immediately after he gave me this ring.

It's a standard ring with an enchantment on it. There's basically nothing to be done here because the enchantment itself is not broke as it's being used on dozens of other pieces of equipment without issue. I'd say chalk this one up to Skyrim being Skyrim since there's nothing we could do about this anyway.
