The torso is missing a "null mod".

You can technically not add any mod to an item that doesn't have one and likewise, you can also not remove a mod; you can only replace mods. This is handled in the game by "null mods". They are just empty placeholders. When you add a mod, you replace the null mod, and when you remove a mod, you replace it with the null mod. The null mod for Misc slots has the name "No Misc Mod", and that's where the displayed text comes from.

Having no null mod specified may cause problems down the line.
