Issue #29342: Knight Varham from BoS wears Vault 111 suit under his PA Frame

 
Knight Varham in The Lost Patrol quest (Ref ID: 001C0FB7, Base ID: 000B1DB3, already dead)

He wears BoS uniform when checked his corpse but due to a reason, you won't see he wears his uniform.

That's because he actually wear a "PA frame skin" armor without name(ARMO:0001D320 --- a wholebody set of armor ARMA:0001D31F), for some reasons, whoever made the "PA frame skin" mesh was "put" V111 vault suit in it(maybe was intended for Sole Survivor or something else long ago?) so it caused people confusing about Varham may related to V111 or other crazy stories and something...but it just the PA "frame skin" model with V111 suit in it.
(I didn't check the actually mesh file for that ARMA record but I just use console command to equip that "skin" and although it shows glitchy for my custom-race chatacter, I sure see the vault suit on that PA frame.)

Well, I'm not sure if this is fixable without any side effects and it just aesthetic problem without affect gameplay at all.
(I googled and found some people also talked about saw other dead BoS PA solider wear vault suit, guess it's because of same mesh, still, not big deal, just weird.)

this is because his race is set to power armor race rather than human with a power armor furniture equipped (in his case, the unique one just for him, 000873BB). he doesn't use templated traits to turn that to the template actor's race, probably since it'd also turn him into a random npc from the generic bos npc leveled list. that unnamed armor is power armor race's default naked body armor. after setting it he won't be having vault 111 outfit anymore, but road leathers, which while still wrong at least doesn't create false implications.
