Issue #30277: Ninja Perk is not applied to the same weapons across all three ranks

 
For reference, bug #19667 was opened regarding Unarmed, but closed as unintentional. However, this is different.

Ninja rank 03 applies to both 1h and 2h melee weapons. However, ranks 1 and 2 do not - they are only applied to 1h melee weapons. This means that taking Ninja causes no change in 2h melee weapon sneak attacks, until you hit Rank03, when suddenly 2h weapons get the max multiplier.

The Weapon condition for Ninja03 for the large (non-ranged) bonus check for WeaponTypeMelee1H OR WeaponTypeMelee2H == 1. Ranks 1 and 2 only check for WeaponTypeMelee1H == 1.

Note also that there may be an unintended weird side effect where, in ranks 1 and 2, Two-Handed melee weapons get the smaller (ranged) bonus, since the exlusions on the lower two ranks are ALSO only checking for 1H weapons.... and NOT excluding 2H melee weapons from the small bonus.

TL;DR it's a mess

The perks in the UF4P seem to have the correct conditions set up, imho

You are correct, while the Vanilla perks are a mess the UFO4P has already sorted this one out.

(Was it really necessary to deliberately exclude Unarmed from even the LOW ninja bonus? Harsh.... Ninjitsu is a martial art after all......)
