Issue #31278: Dawnguard Rune Axe
The Dawnguard Rune Axe seems to have several issues:
- The undead counter doesn't always reset properly at 5 AM. (Some people reported this, I'm not 100% sure as I wasn't able to replicate it fully.) - Raising undead thralls yourself and killing them will also count as increasing the undead counter. (Some people reported this, I'm not 100% sure as I wasn't able to replicate it fully.) - At 100 kills, the Axe's enchantment will deal no damage. Getting another kill will set the damage to 100. (This is due to the comparison value of its last effects condition being set at "Greater Than 100", instead of "Greater Than or Equal To 100" in DLC1DawnguardRuneAxeExtraDamage "Extra Damage" [ENCH:0201668F] ) - Incorrect keywords/visual effects. (In DLC1DawnguardRuneAxeDamageEffect "Sun Damage" [MGEF:02016696]: MagicFireDamage keyword, Magic Skill Destruction instead of Restoration -> These are inconsistent with other Sun damage effects adressed in USSEP.) - Tempering the axe at a grindstone will make the counter to no longer reset. (Likely due to the script being attached to a specific objectreference, namely: [REFR:0201668B] (places DLC1DawnguardRuneAxe "Dawnguard Rune Axe" [WEAP:0201668C] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of testPhil "There's a spider on your shoulder" [CELL:02007D94]) I adressed some of these issues (among other more subjective changes), in my mod: Dawnguard Rune Axe Bug Fix: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/49239 |
