Issue #31398: Companions defy time and space to get around an impassable door in Kendall Hospital. I blame Todd.
k. so. you go into kendall hospital with a companion, right?
theres a part, later on, kinda large room. guy with a missle launcher. no biggie. todd expects you to jump into the ominous pit. which is fine. well, when you jump in said pit: your companion doesnt jump with you! they know its a stupid idea. so, you fight the deathclaw, grab the fusion core... and lo! and behold by the time you make it through the radioactive hallway, you companion is there comin through the "back entrance". problem: once you exit that exit: you're in a tiny little entirely closed off room with a door that has 2 door bars that are latched on it. companion is OP. it just works. yadda yadda. ty. |
The routing issue with companions is related to bad navmesh design. I remember experiencing the same thing some time ago but apparently forgot to report it.
