Issue #31445: Lucas' Guard 133512 Tied To Covenant Workshop As Settler

Lucas' male guard 133512 is tied to Covenant workshop as a settler. Makes it pretty much impossible to have a player home or other specific settlement because lack of food, etc. drops settlement happiness to zero. I used to think it was Deezer, went through the disabling of him with no luck. Finally used Settlement Management Software to track him down. Disabling him and marking him for delete definitely drops population from 1 to 0 as soon as you open workshop. This can also cause problems where you agro Covenant, he will sometimes join in against you, which can cause Lucas to agro.

I wonder if this is the cause of the issue I have seen on a previous play through were the Vault tech population management system show that there was a doctor assigned to the settlement immediately after i had kill said doctor. I was using a mod that auto assigned jobs to people (sim settlements/WSFW), I am sure the job assignment was caused by that mod. But since I could not find the settler I was at a loss as to what was happening. Seeing this bug report it now makes since. Immediately after you clear Covenant and take ownership of the workshop, the mod is auto assigning him as a doctor because it is the only open job, and he is the only settler.

Yeah, this one is a pain and took me a bit to track down. I have no idea why he is tied to Covenant workshop because I've specifically tested and waited until he was sitting out front when I went to wipe out the Covenant settlers and he does not agro most of the time. Every one in a while he will, but that may be a stray bullet. I figured that would be the only reason they'd tie him to it as they are out front all the time and there's no other logical reason. Now I just disable him at the beginning of every game so I don't have to defend Covenant or worry about food for happiness as a player settlement.

Arthmoor, is there any way you can look into this? I hate having to disable Lucas' guard every playthrough just to make it so happiness doesn't plummet when there's no settlers in the population and a lot of people use it as a player home. He is definitely assigned to this workshop. You can simply go there, open workshop, see that there's population of 1. Disable him and check again and it's 0.
