Issue #31557: Aetherium Shards

 
I started a new game. Very early on I went to Mzulft and picked up the aetherium shard in the storeroom there. Now I’m trying to complete the “Lost to the Ages quest line, and I’m with Katria in the Mzulft storeroom. Since there isn’t a shard there for me to pick up, she just keeps telling me “well, go on, take it!” I’ve tried equipping the shard, dropping the shard, favoriting the shard, nothing. She just stands there. I’m now level 40, so going all the way back is a big no go. Is there any way this can be fixed?

Just to be clear, did you pick that shard up before ever starting the quest?
