Issue #31561: Center & Spawn Markers - Attacks
A recent issue in here reminded me of an issue that's plagued certain settlements and settlement builders. This one may be a little more complicated. Certain settlement's attack vectors are somehow not working correctly. Tenpines, Finch, & Somerville to name a few, while the rest work as designed. Here's the issue: Attacks, for some unapparent reason are using Center and Spawn markers instead of attack markers to attack settlements. They all have attack markers outside of the settlement, but certain ones utilize Center and Spawn marker instead. Is there something going on script-wise at these settlements that would make this happen that can be changed to allow for the attack markers to be used correctly? These settlements NEVER use the attack markers and it puts them right in the middle of the build, and along with not being able to build where you should, causes CTDs in some places on fast travel to defend. I realize you probably won't move the markers, but, if there is something that can be done about the attack scripts themselves to fix this and make them spawn where they are supposed to, that would be one of the biggest settlement problems people have remediated, and make a TON of builders extremely happy. At this point, Attack markers are pretty much useless at these settlements. Most of us use SKK Workshop Marker mod to move Center and Spawn slightly outside where we are building to fix the issue and it works perfectly, and on more CTDs on Fast Travel.
