Issue #31777: Chillrend audio loop

Hi,

This is a partial duplicate of this old ticket: https://afktrack.afkmods.com/index.php?a=issues&i=23907

Hope it's fine for me to necro this conversation, since it's happening to me on PC atm.

The fundamental issue is, after using Chillrend for some time, the un-sheath sound gets stuck on your character and loops over and over. The issue is not solved by re-loading a save or unequipping the sword. Once you got it, it's there for eternity.

I'm unsure how this state is triggered, but it builds up. I've attached my save file: it has several looping sounds stacked on my character. It was barely audible at the beginning, and increased over time while using the sword, so I'm unsure when it exactly started.

To load my save file you need a bare minimum of:

- https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2357

You can ignore any other mod required, the above suffices to load the save and see the issue in action. I'm happy to provide my full list of mods if that helps, but I don't think that's necessary since they are almost all entirely just visual enhancements. Let me know.

On nexus there is currently a workaround (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5386) which kinda works, but what it does is it replaces a sound with a not looping one, which isn't a fix.
It's also possible to temporarily mute the looping sound by running "player.changesex" (twice) on the command line (but it gets back as soon as you reload or teleport).

Another two mentions of the bug on the internet:

I'm happy to assist you with any potential additional info. Let me know :)

I'm unsure if I attached the save file, let me post it here once more.
Also you can get it here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7w4x439mcaunftm/AACoRhPrvBzgZYlw3bl0ToXXa?dl=0

Also, small update to the above: the "player.sexchange" workaround works till re-load, the issue doesn't come up after teleporting to a city.

A bit of clarification to whoever picks this ticket up.

The description of the main ticket was written when only "looping-sound-issue-save.zip" was attached. This particular save file requires two mods to run (enhanced blood textures and morehud). These mods shouldn't get in the way of testing, but to allow a cleaner room while testing there is also "only-ussep.zip", which like the name suggests requires only ussep to run. This last save file was provided after the main ticket was created, hence why the main description doesn't mention it (can't find an "edit" button, apologies if I'm missing something obvious).

Also wanted to expand on this bit:

I'm unsure how this state is triggered, but it builds up. I've attached my save file: it has several looping sounds stacked on my character. It was barely audible at the beginning, and increased over time while using the sword, so I'm unsure when it exactly started.

What I mean is the sound can get stuck on the character multiple times over time. When there was only one instance of the sound going on it was barely noticeable, but after a couple of iterations now it's very noticeable and annoying. I'm unsure how many times the bug happened in my save file. Definitely more than 1.

I know this isn't super useful, but I **think** the bug happens in battle, maybe when switching weapons very quickly? Maybe there is a racing condition somewhere? (these are just my speculations without any knowledge about the architecture of Skyrim's scripts, don't give them too much thought, I'm basically rubber ducking  ).
