Issue #32004: Shambles knockdown recovery animation causes CTD
The animation used by Shambles to get back to their feet following knockdown is bugged. If called, it will cause a CTD in all versions. This was largely avoided in Vanilla because Shambles had such a high Agility stat, knockdown was nearly impossible. But USIP alters the Agility stat, revealing this error.
A fixed animation already is available on NexusMods (just search for Shambles Fix). It simply needs incorporated into USIP. NOTE: I thought High was the correct Severity rating due to instant CTD but not commonly encountered. Adjust as you see fit. |
Confirmed, the animation is named "EMPTY_SEQUENCE_AT_0f" which means the game can't load it. It should be "SpecialIdle_GetUpFaceDown". We'll get this double-checked and implemented.
