Issue #32337: An enchanted item reverts to its original form if left in a cupboard

I enchanted a 'Fine Hat' with the enhanced alchemy enchantment and renamed it as 'Alchemy Hat'. When I finished my enchanting session I stored the hat, along with enchanted Gloves Necklace and Ring in the leftmost wardrobe in my room at the College of Winterhold. When I returned the 'Alchemy Hat' had been converted back to a 'Fine Hat' and was no longer enchanted. I believe that the hat had originally been found in the same wardrobe.

This was on a PC Skyrim version 1.6.353.0.8 - SKSE64 2.1.5

The workaround is obvious - don't store enchanted items back in the container they came from.

All containers in the Arch-Mage's quarters are non-respawning by default. This could not happen in those.

Since you did not specify which room you were actually in, the only conclusion that can be reached is that you either put the items into a container in some other part of the college, or a mod has altered the base container objects to respawn.
