Issue #32733: No sound for Throw Voice Shout for Female Khajiit
No sound plays for Throw Voice shout when playing as a Female Khajiit. It is just not implemented, or are the files are missing completely? The subtitles appear though.
|
Is it Throw Voice - "Zul Mey Gut"? Which subtitles are displayed?
Also, is it YOUR character or a custom follower/npc trying to throw this shout?
Also, open the console and type "showracemenu", close console. Try to change race/sex and report if the sound is playing for other races/sexes.
And, if your character's race is custom (I mean, not from the ones playable from the vanilla game) then this is not a bug. The very few sounds that your character pronounces ingame are in combat (including shouts) and deep breathing after coming back to surface after a long diving underwater, and they have been dubbed exclusively for vanilla playable races...

Yes, it is that Shout.
Nope just the main character. I don't have many mods installed. Just Patches for the main game and CC and run for your lives.
Although I can do that, but I clearly remember other characters I played previously had the sound (Maybe not all but then again, I didn't use the Shout with all my characters). I am talking about the funny voice lines that are used as insults and not the shout itself.

OK,
I checked on my actual game. I changed my character with the console command I described previously and the funny taunting proper voice actings are playing correctly (at least in french). USSEP is supposed to fix this issue since solving issue #19544 and issue #29158.
Either you have another mod cancelling the USSEP fix, or either you are playing in a language (or using a localized version of USSEP) that is missing these voice lines (it previously happened several times).

Bethesda never recorded the actual lines for many of the Throw Voice selections, the files are simply missing from the archives for as far back as I have versions to check them in.
They're also missing from the original LE archives, so it's very likely many of them just never existed at all.
We've done what we can to at least allow the "Hey!" response to work. If that isn't working then Nico is correct that you have something installed that's killed the fix, or you're using a translation of the patch that hasn't taken the proper file paths into consideration.
