Issue #32880: Talking to war leaders immediately after starting in the army starts Fort Hraggstad/Ice Wraith quest

 
When choosing to start as a soldier in the army, if you talk to Rikke/Tullius or Galmar/Ulfric fast enough, the vanilla pre-quest will start to either secure Fort Hraggstad or slay an Ice Wraith depending on your faction choice.

This is on version 4.1.8 of Alternate Start - Live Another Life for Skyrim SE.

Yes, unfortunately due to the timings involved you just need to wait until quest messages stop playing through and then wait for the end of the Jagged Crown scene for either side to play out.
