Issue #33714: Resource transport through cargo links only works in one direction

I have two outposts that are connected by a cargo link. Outpost 1 produces iron, tantalum and alkanes, outpost 2 produces helium-3, aluminum and beryllium. Initially, I did set up the link to move all resources mined at outpost 1 to outpost 2 fur further processing and/or distribution. For this purpose, I built a large storage tank at outpost 2 where all resources hauled from outpost 1 are transferred to. Once this storage tank is filled, the resources start to pile up in the arrival container on the landing platform, then in the exit container on the landing platform at outpost 1, and if they are all filled up to the brim, the extractors at outpost 1 are eventually halted. So far, this is expected behavior.

Then I tried to transport some aluminum from ourpost 2 to outpost 1, to fabricate adaptive frames there. I linked my aluminum storage tank at outpost 2 to the exit container on the landing platform, then build an aluminum storage at outpost 1 (properly linked from the arrival container) to feed the fabricator - and then, I got a complete mess: instead of transporting only aluminum to outpost 1, the game also transported all materials that had piled up in the arrival container of outpost 2 back to outpost 1 and transferred it to the container destined to store aluminum. Eventually, that container was filled with only iron and tantalum, since all aluminum in there had been consumed by the fabricator, Now, the aluminum transported from outpost 2 piled up in the arrival container at outpost 1, together with more back-transported iron and tantalum. When checking the containers at outpost 2, I noticed that aluminum had appeared in the storage tank that received the arrivals from outpost 1. Apparently, the resources piling up in the arrival container of outpost 1 were transported back to their origin too. Thus, the resources in the arrival containers are continually transported forth and back between the outposts,

The game behaves as if the the arrival and exit containers on both platforms were linked, but they aren't (I checked all links thrice). This makes a controlled transfer of resources in both directions impossible.
