I believe the correct behavior is:
- guards attacking the player if the player leaves their cell, regardless of who opened the door; or if a player assaults or kills a guard
- guards locking the door behind them after they killed a hostile creature in the cell
- a bounty should be set as usual for assaulting or killing a guard when imprisoned
- guards not saying the lines suggesting they want to start a conversation with an imprisoned player
I also noticed that the guards don't care if a player casts Destruction spells on them after unlocking the door (triggering attack on sight), as long as they don't see the player.

One more bug: the 50 gold fine is received anytime the player activates any door in a dungeon (except the ones that lead to another location), locking or unlocking it, possibly leading to large total fines. I think it is not how it is supposed to work.
Another bug related to jail: if a player activates any door and then attempts to wait, "You must sleep in a jail bed in order to serve your sentence." is still going to be displayed, but attempting to sleep in a bed does not provide an option to serve sentence anymore.
