During Liberation of Skyrim after Rescue from Fort Neugrad, Ulfric says this to the player: "We've driven the Imperials out of Whiterun. This is good. Very good. We now control the center. It's a powerful position. One I aim to keep. We'll call you Ice-Veins now. For the thick blood of our land has seeped into your heart. Here, take this. It's an Imperial officer's sword. A fitting weapon to use against our enemy."

As you can see, Ulfric states the weapon is an Imperial officer's sword. Normally in vanilla it gives you a sword from the Imperial Civil War reward list (which is fitting and consistent with his dialogue). But USSEP seems to change it so you get weapons from the Stormcloak reward list instead, which is not consistent with what Ulfric says and can lead to strange implications about what weapons the imperial officers use.
